“Unfortunately we only stayed at Ashbourne House for one night, and that is a shame because it is a very nice guest house! The room are clean, fresh and comfortable. When we arrived they had put choclate at our pillows, the choclate were from a local shop in Franshhoek. Me and my boyfriend are crazy about the breakfast at the hotel. They served everything from scrambled eggs, omeletts, bacon to fresh fruit and yoghurt. We can really recomend this guest house! ”

“firstly communication was not clear because when I get the guesthouse the person who was assisting me told me that I'm supposed to be in Strand but the direction that I got was for Somerset. I was so confused but assisted me because there was a room that was free in that site. very thing is perfect very apartment is very nit and clean. ”

“Very good hospitality. A kitchen everyone could use, which was separate to the rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean. We loved the getaway and the toddler enjoyed herself as well. Roger, who is one of the staff, was very helpful and also great with assisting in anything we needed with a speedy service. The guesthouse is also in walking distance to the beach and to the shops. Which is very convenient. Will definitely use their accommodation again. ”

“The Last Word Constantia really is the last word in luxury. When we arrived, we were greeted with coffee and cake and some excellent tips on what to see and do with children in the area. And then we were taken up to the Family Suite. What a fabulous suite of rooms, complete with mini bathrobes for children, a separate tv room with a Wii, two bathrooms and little toiletries so that our boys could enjoy a bubble bath. Thanks to Tess and her brilliant tips, we were able to visit a brilliant bird...
