“Fantastic property in a lovely location. Would certainly recommend and stay again. Unfortunately our booking did not seem to have been communicated to the manager and as such the room we had booked was not available. They did mange to host us in an alternate room for the first night of our stay and we moved into the run we had booked for the second night. Both Rooney were perfect however the uncertainty was slightly stressful after a long drive with a 13 month old baby”

“This was a lovely property on a farm & great value. The welcome was warm & friendly. The beds were comfortable & the freshly laundered bed linen smelled lovely. It was a short drive to Alton Towers. The WiFi was slow though & there isn't great mobile reception. However, I would thoroughly recommend it & we all said we would stay again in a heartbeat.”

“Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends.”

“Spacious, clean, safe. A lovely home with plenty of space for a large family. Just spent a week here as a family of 10. The owner, Gary is most helpful, and kept us fully informed of the new arrival procedure. For a Chinese meal, highly recommend the Pearl Dragon Cheadle. They also deliver. Cannot fault this property and would definately return.. 🙂”

“2 families stayed whilst visiting Alton Towers. We couldn’t have stayed any closer, The Old Barn literally on the doorstep. The property have a very homely feel which made relaxing easy. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. We could even all sit together around the large table in the kitchen to eat together. Beds were very comfortable and the location was quiet. The only noise at night was our bed which creaked really loudly every time me or my husband moved dispute that we slept very...

“Well lovely spacious accommodation so close to Alton towers I sort of worked out it is quicker to walk from the cottage than it is to drive into the car park and walk. I was very happy being in there and the large sofa and fire were so homely ”

“We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, which had everything a family could need for brief stops inbetween visiting the surrounding area (including a baby chair and a crib available on request). The only thing was that a radiator made some strange noises now and then (even when switched off).”
