“This is a lovely cottage in a quiet neighborhood and tiny village. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the house. The kitchen is well appointed, although we only used it for light breakfasts. We had fabulous weather, so we were able to enjoy the outside deck and sea air. There isn’t much to do in the village (but do visit the cute wool boutique with nice items a short walk from the house!). There’s a highly rated restaurant in the village, but we didn’t try it. The kitchen is large and fully stocked with everything needed to cook. The location is perfect for day trips to all of southern Iceland. ”

The most well stocked property I have ever stayed at with cooking supplies, laundry, and bathrobes. “Loved to stay in the Cabin! Great Location for the south area. The cabin is very comfortable and have everything you need. We just had a bit of trouble getting the hot water going and the pipes make a lot of noise while you use the shower, but other than that, we loved it here and would love to come back! “We really loved our stay here. The home is as described in the listing, is clean and has all the amenities including a washer and dryer. Staying on a farm was a nice change of pace on our trip - we enjoyed seeing the horses in the pasture next door. Before we left we lucked out and happened upon one of the owners who gave us a tour of the barn and animals there. Would absolutely stay again.”

“The schoolhouse was exactly what we were looking for with our large group with kids 2-6. Lots of space to play inside and outside. Good spot to explore the South of Iceland, close to the ocean as well as Selfoss. Fantastic smelling hand soap and a great Kitchen and dining hall to have meals in.
