Unfortunately the next night another guest set off the fire alarm at 1am. “Lovely English country house with a beautiful garden located right on Dartmoor so it’s a great starting point for exploring the area (I explored by foot only). The highlight of the hotel is its elegant and luxurious spa. Fabulous breakfast served. Lovely dinner options at The Blue Tiger. Spacious room and very comfortable bed. I would happily return! ”

“Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”
