“The room was really not cleaned and needs some refresh. That’s why I think we had Spiders in the room and toilet. Some forgotten things in the wardroom from former guests. But the breakfast was really good and the dinner as well.”

“It was a wonderful, yet too brief, one night stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our meal in the informal dining/pub options was nourishing and delicious. The room was clean, large, and bright. We were able to get a room facing back garden and with views. A big pot of tea and a freshly pressed coffee were very nice at breakfast. Local walks on the moor, and to the quarry & rocks and were fab.”

“Väldigt trevligt och mysig B6B, Pub, Restaurang combo. Rent och snyggt. God frukost. Bra säng och rent.”

“We were welcomed by the staff and shown to our room, which was spacious, clean, warm and quiet. The bed was large and comfortable with good quality pillows. The shower room was large, clean and modern. It was so reasonably priced, we expected a lot less!”

“Very nice hotel in a good location. Newly refurbished. Nice and service minded personnel.”

“We received such a lovely warm welcome from Vanessa and Cameron on arrival at the Millbrook, which immediately made us feel at home. Hotel was absolutely spotless, and breakfast was piping hot and delicious, in fact it was the best breakfast we have had. Vanessa and Cameron worked so hard to make everyone’s stay perfect. They took the time to get to know each guest individually. We loved the well-stocked tea tray in our room and the mini fridge, which was restocked daily with fresh milk and...

“Excellent location, spacious room, great breakfast, beautiful balcony with amazing views, and more importantly very nice and helpful staff 🙏👏”

“A very lovely, clean and welcoming B&B. Debbie and Rich were excellent hosts, and provided tips on the various activities to try and things to do.An ideal location and easily accessible to the seafront and amenities.”

“We had lovely time staying at the Cleveland Hotel. The room was excellent and the staff was very helpful.”

“Great location. Enjoyed the cooked breakfast.”

“We were a little disappointed with our stay and are surprised by the number of positive comments. While our room itself was clean enough, the rest of the property would benefit from a serious deep clean. The carpets on the stairs were heavily ingrained with dirt. We were also surprised to find that the dining area was carpeted, which seems an unusual and impractical choice for a breakfast room. The carpet was very dirty and had a musty smell, and there were crumbs scattered around when we came...

“Room and bed comfortable, walk in shower, table top ironing board and iron were very useful prior to a family wedding. Green table cafe on site is really good. Also The White Hart provided hotel breakfasts. Staircases were a little fusty with an odd air freshener to compensate. Its an old listed building so to be expected but might smell fresher if the stair carpets were steam cleaned and better air fresheners. Beautfiul location. Lovely Japanese meditation garden next to the bagel cafe, was...

“Room was freezing tiny wall heater mouldy towels”

“Nice hotel on the country and a wonderful staff. It was good food and we stayed for 3 nights.”

“Great staff, friendly and attentive. Amazing food, real ale, extensive wine list. Reminiscent of how hotels used to be before corporate takeovers”

“Trevligt på alla sätt men några detaljer ledningen behöver se över. Finns ingenstans överhuvudtaget att lägga sina kläder. Inte en enda låda. Anmärkningsvärt! Sängarna var så nerledande och ålderstigna att man låg som i en hängmatta. En dubbelsäng där man höjde sig 1 dm när man lade sig i mitten. Det är dålig kvalité på ett hotell med så hög standard i övrigt ”
