Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. “We used the house as a home base for my North Channel swim attempt. It was an easy walk to the harbor and a short drive to Bangor. Very convenient and welcoming. We had a great stay!”

“Lovely clean caravan on a quiet very well kept site. Lots to see and do around the area, we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Lounge area spacious and double bed very comfy. Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children.”

“A very comfortable and warm house,we all enjoyed ourselves,4 adults and the dogs!Joan and her husband were very friendly,we were welcomed by Joan on our arrival.It was hsrd to.leave as we were settled and comfortable. Another lovely part of Dumfries and Galloway.We enjoyed the animals on the farm.Thanks again for making us feel welcome,the welcome tray of goodies also .Happy New Year.”

Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. “A great week in Sandhead with the family, location is perfect, with the beach almost on the doorstep.House was spacious, well equipped and definitely somewhere where we will return to.”

“Really away from it all location which made travel a bit longer but so worthwhile. Large comfortable warm lodge with loads of stuff for young kids, masses of space inside and out and brilliant old style bedrooms. Lovely, helpful available onsite housekeepers. Great trip, totally worth the drive.”
