“When booking it does offer if you pay a bit more it would include free breakfast but once you arrive it’s not free breakfast you only get $10 a day credit towards your stay and their breakfast items start at $12.00 for something very simple and you need to charge to your room so you can get your $10 credit for breakfast. We never used the credit so we ended up paying more for our room for no reason. You also pay $15 a day to park in their garage. While the location is near most downtown eateries...

“The Star on Spring was one of the prettiest places I have ever stayed! It smelled amazing. Every detail had been thought of, even the towels and hairdryers were top of the line! They made our anniversary trip so special. The area around the hotel is such a cute, up and coming place area. Lots to do within a few blocks. “The property and location were fine, but not at the same level that Homewood suites usually are. The room kitchen was ill stocked, the dishwasher leaked, and I had to go to the front desk twice to get enough plates and silverware for the two of us. The staff at the front desk were very professional and helpful. The breakfast was a real disappointment, extra water had been added to the oatmeal and the gravy.
