“Nice place to stay”

“There are two rooms at the barn and they are not worth the price. The rooms at the main house are the fantastic on es. So if you see a bargin on hotel.com its probably in the barn. When booking via hotels.com it said WIFI at the room. No wifi was available at the barn. The response at the reception was like "I do not care"”

“Terrible experience at this guset house. When we arrived tyou couldn not flush and the girl at the front desk promised us to fix that. We took a walk at the town and went back, still not fixed but she promised us the plumber was on his way. After a couple of hours we come back again and were promised it was fixed. Guess what, it was not and there was no plumber!! She lied to us!! When we wanted to change room there was none, even though there were two avalible on the website! When we wanted to...

“Loved ALL of it! The people working there are as friendly as the place is beautiful! What an atmosphere! Excellent breakfast, great dinner and even the bar lounge menue gave us a truly good second evening experience. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable.”

“Bed was a little stiff for my wife but I slept well. Pillows were great and the shower was nice. Ate on the back porch. Breakfast was nice and full of butter. Bacon was yummy. For an old house the doors were a bit hard to lock. Hated to have to slam the door to get it to lock. Stayed in the Grant room where General Grant slept.”
