“The property at Riverfront Retreat provided a nice place to stay while exploring the area. It is located right off 19 which is the main road into Bryson City and can also take it to Cherokee.It is an older house in a quiet neighborhood.There is a nice spacious living area with an open kitchen. If u like cooking on your vacation, there are 2 big appliances that do about anything u want. The fridge has an ice maker, but not with an automatic ice and water area on the fridge. “Leslie, the home owner, was easy to communicate with. She was pleasant and highly accommodating. We traveled for a conference and enjoyed a little respite in her cabin. I enjoyed how it was close to town, but secluded with only a couple other properties in the same corner. The cabin was like home and the hot tub was an oasis after long days. We did not have any issues during our stay and would gladly stay at Leslie’s property again. ”

“The check in process was simple and easy. The kitchen was fully stocked with necessary utensils and appliances. The house is beautifully decorated in a mountain theme and the photos fully represent the property. We loved the hot tub on the deck with its awesome views. We will definitely return. “Great house, great location, beautiful view, comfy beds. My only suggestion would be to please get better curtains for the sliding door in the primary bedroom. They don’t close all the way and let lots of light in early in the morning, had to hang towels to cover gaps”

We enjoyed the view and time spent on the wrap-around porch when the sun was out and the covered porch to listen to the rain and enjoy the string of lights in the evening. The location is secluded and extremely peaceful. Overall, the house was clean. “Very nice, clean, new feel and vibe. Adequately stocked with things needed to make a short weekend getaway easier (e.g., fresh coffee beans, spices / oils for cooking). Very responsive and helpful host. Would absolutely stay here again. ”

“Ten of us enjoyed our stay at the property. There was plenty of space for all of us. It was rainy so we spent time playing board games, playing foos ball, going to the gym, and watching movies. When the sun came out we went to see the waterfall that was 5 mins from the house. Gorgeous and you didn’t have to hike to get to it. We also played pickle ball by the gym. So fun. We were in town for a wedding. It’s a beautiful area. ”
