“Lovely propery and helpful owner. Arrived to find a plate of delicious brownies, bottle of wine and sausages and bacon in the freezer. The spare bed had been set up in the main bedroom to suit our sleeping arrangements.However, it could do with a deep clean as it was quite dusty with many spider webs. We could see a thick layer of dust on the beams and had to clean the towel rail before putting our flannels on it.Wi-fi was not brilliant though we were not there much to use it. Uploading videos...

“Pleasant and well-appointed place to stay. Close to our other family members, so we could enjoy lots of time together.”

“No drop down rail next to toilet and carpet in downstairs bedroom. Making it a bit awkward for full time wheelchair users. Had to move beds to get wheelchair next to one of them.”

“This is a perfect place to relax and unwind if you're looking for peace and gorgeous farmland. Lots of footpaths nearby, including a nature preserve. A car is necessary to get to nearby attractions like Stonor Park or Waddeston but it would be possible to spend a long weekend here and walk to a nearby pub or creamery that makes decision cheese. Lots of farm stands too, to stock up on locally raised produce. We used the kitchen a lot and found it adequate for all our needs. The family is lovely...

“This is a perfect little characterful bolt hole for a break away from the hustle and bustle. Well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. We ate out, but the kitchen was well equipped for those who want to make meals.The cottage has a lovely garden that gets sundhine for most of the day.Cute villiage on the doorstep with a few restaurant options, but plan ahead as not everything's open every day of the week.”
