“beautiful home for couple's retreat. Direct view of the ocean thru huge glass doors. I swam laps in the pool every morning. Wonderful tips from the owner on where to eat nearby. Burrito recommendation in Tulum was the best burritos we have ever had. Did a cenote scuba dive just up the street. A rental car here is very helpful.”

“Everything was perfect. All of the reviews were exactly right on as were the photos. The food that Elda prepared was fresh and tasty. There is usually enough to have leftovers the day that she did not cook for us. And she left the extra groceries so we were able to maximize what we spent on the food. Such a great option and treat!We would go back in a heartbeat.”

“Fabulous stay! The condo was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the beach was absolutely gorgeous. The whole area felt safe, peaceful, and friendly, with plenty of convenient parking. We arrived late at night and had a little trouble spotting the ‘Nahil’ sign above the entrance, but we found it. The night guard, Alberto, was incredibly kind and helpful. The only downside to our entire trip had nothing to do with the condo or the area .....

“Akumal is a special town that I have visited for over 25 years. This was my first time staying at LaSerina. Such a lovely location. The courtyard gardens are full of beautiful tropical plants, and is beautifully maintained. There is a large lovely pool in the center of this courtyard. The condo was decorated in traditional Mexican decor with lots of nice personal touches. The staff were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.”

“It was exactly as described. The place was nice with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was nice and we enjoyed the little town. My only complaint was all the seaweed. It was in large piles all over the beach which made the beach in front of the place pretty useless. ”

“Couldn’t ask for a nicer place or views. With 4 young kids, we throughly enjoyed Akumal and surrounding areas. The place was very clean, pool was great, parking was easy, and snorkeling out front was great too (albeit rocky, but that just gave more places to look for sea life!). Host was very responsive. Would definitely stay again”

“It brings me no satisfaction to write this review. I'm hoping for a refund instead. We intended to stay three nights and only stayed one night. There were many disappointments and on their own it would not have been enough for us to seek another location but when we discovered the pool was closed we informed the owner of our disappointment and our intent to leave.
