“Room was clean but very cold couldn’t get the underfloor heating to work Breakfast was disappointing plate was oily eggs were overcooked beans were cold as if the were straight out of the tin as was the mushroom and tomato sausages ,bacon ,black pudding and hash brown were lukewarm and didn’t come with toast or fried bread”

“The lady who checked in was so lovely, even took us to our room. Every member of staff asks if you need help finding anything and direct you to were you need to be. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast included in the room stay was 10/10.”

“Trevlig personal, stort rum”

“We had a fantastic stay at Dakota Newcastle. The rooms were beautiful, stylish and extremely comfortable, and the staff were so attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing with excellent food and great service. Everything felt really high quality and well thought out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Dakota Newcastle. We’ll absolutely be back!”

“Excellent”

“First and foremost the property was clean, functional and offered value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, although our experience of room service was let down by dirty cups being left. We found the hotel lacked character, everything about it was functional and not interesting. This extended to the breakfast, our experience of which was behind not eating supper there. This is not a criticism of the hotel, it is my view. Based on reviews I expected a little more than we got....

“Nice classic Brittish hotel, friendly and serviceminded staff, and a good restaurant.”

“Great location and really nice, spacious and clean rooms. This was a great place to stay for exploring Newcastle and also very comfortable and cozy. Staff are excellent too, and the free morning coffee and croissant are a nice perk!”

“Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Quiet room.”

“Very nice hotel in all aspects.”
