Not happy

Too many things were wrong and not working or broken. No one came to check when I complained about a flickering light like a strobe light. Good thing no one suffered seizures!

Terrible customer service

I should've read the reviews before booking this property. If you go and read the reviews dated August 17, 2023, April 19, 2024 & May 7, 2024-that pretty much sums up our experience. Booked property for hot tub-not working-numerous calls for service. I spent more time stressing over things then enjoying my vacation. AC worked great but in the evening the heat kicked on to. Ice maker not working. All of us work in the law enforcement field & are stressed enough. I registered the 4 vehicles going there when I did reservation online. Security came by & said they were not registered & fined. I registered again-he came by again the next day & said they still weren't registered. Another fine. Besides ALL of that-BEAUTIFUL-VERY CLEAN-COMFORTABLE BEDS-laundry pods,shampoo/conditioner/soap, trashbags provided.

Nice property, poor management

Booked this property and stayed with a group of 9. Check in was easy, beds were comfortable, and was plenty spacious for all of us. Generally speaking we had a great time, but there were some things that dampened the experience for us. First and foremost, the hot tub was filthy. Completely unusable in that state, but since I didn't report it during our stay, it's apparently not vacasa's problem and I am ineligible for a refund. Beware if you are looking to book this property in the hopes of using the hot tub. There was also a mess at the bottom of the main freezer that was there when we arrived. Secondly, despite filling out all the forms required of me (some of which were not from the email address they said it would be from), the property management did not register our vehicles. A security guard knocked on the door and informed us that we weren't authorized to park in the driveway. After we explained our situation, the guard said that he would write up the property owner, but only if they didn't register our vehicles in 3 hours. I tried to contact the host, but I kept receiving the same message with a slightly changed signature. So we were put under house arrest for a good majority of the afternoon because Vacasa didn't process the documents I submitted. Thankfully we were not responsible for the charges and fines for the vehicles, but it was still ridiculous that we could not fully enjoy our weekend due to Vacasa's incompetence.

Stay the Vacasa Way

I have to say Vacasa thought of everything!!! I didn't have have to buy any incidental items. The complimenrary items made our stay away from home feel like home. They provided complimentary dishwasher pods, laundry pods, handsoap, beach towels, plenty of fresh linens, paper towels, and Dove....Basically everything. The small touches made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. I am definitely going to book again for fall!!! The house is clean, spacious, and decorated nicely. I loved it!

No hot tub

Called several times prior to stay and told the hot tub worked. Get to home and called cause hot tub was off told to flip braker and guess what hot tub doesn't work. Called back end of 2nd day told that it needs extensive repair and would not be done untill we left. Asked to be compensated for the lost of the hot tub and was refunded $30 and i have submitted a request for at least $150 . Very disappointed in the service. Ice maker didnt work pool sticks and rack were broken. I extended our stay before arriving and was locked out Thursday afternoon. I dont recommend.

Beautiful house

This house is exactly as described. I messaged Vacasa early so they can make sure the hot tub was ready when I arrived and they handled it right away. The house is very clean. The beds and sofas are all plush and comfortable. The hot tub is amazing, it had a waterfall feature and fit 6 girls comfortably and is on the upper level within an enclosed deck. The balcony has a great view and has a nice area to gather with a grill. We couldn’t figure out how to heat the first floor. Although the maintainance office replied quickly I just couldn’t waste any more time texting back and forth trying to figure it out. Overall they can use more kitchen accessories like oven mitts and dish towels, extra throw blankets and bathing towels would really make this house better. It was a great experience and I will definitely book again.

Inacurate description of the property

Couple of things didn't work: - fireplace - Hot Tub - Hot water runs out after about 5 min on the shower. This is difficult when 7 people are trying to shower. - No explanations on how anything works. While this may not seem important, most properties will have a little booklet or something on how different things work around the house (AC, TVs, Hot Tub) the properties has individual AC settings and it was very confusing the first night. Having it snow all night, it made it a pretty miserable first night. Overall the house was OK but the lack of effort in the little things made things unappealing. Would not stay here again, will be reaching out to VRBO for a partial refund.

Never again

Worst vacation ever. Never rent from “Vacasa” and international company that posts on Vrbo. We had issues with the only amenity we booked this house for (hot tub) and no one cared. Every time we called the company we were linked to their main office in Oregon and they wound’t give us the phone number for the local property manager or loop her in Pennsylvania. They knew the hot tub was broken but never told us and they never fixed it or even sent anyone out. It was alot more for our stay at this house then other houses in the area most likely due to the amenity that didn’t work. All we wanted was a hot tub in a house in the woods in the Poconos but Vacasa could care less.

Great house. Clean, great deck, great layout

My sisters and our families has a wonderful time here. The place was clean, easy to access and located in a beautiful setting close by to places to visit and dine. The front deck was a great place to eat and hang out. I highly recommend this rental. Great for groups.

The house itself was great, very nice property and very clean. The rental process was smooth and hassle free. The only issue was communication with the renter after arrival, they were very unresponsive with a couple issues we had.

Great Fall Getaway in the Poconos

Easy check in. and checkout. Nice location. Beautiful view. Only suggestion would be some type of a blind for the east facing picture window. Thanks! Really enjoyed our stay!

Our Family Getaway

Extended family getaway

We have a very close-knit extended family and we are always looking to create new memories together. This house fit the bill for allllll 12 of us!! The kids loved the hot tub, the adults loved the deck with its beautiful views, everyone loved the pool table. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We never felt cramped or crowded. The kitchen was wonderful - we all made our own food comfortably. Proximity to Camelback Resort is fantastic, literally 5 min away. It was an overall wonderful experience and we’re all looking forward to the next great family vacation here!

Couples Golf Trip

Overall we had a great time and enjoyed most of the outdoor spaces, but mostly, the screened side deck where the hot tub is (since it rained most evenings). There were some confusing communications regarding parking and using the garage, but it's only a half-car garage so i don't think anyone could park a car in there. We fit (2) cars plus a Large van in the driveway with no problem. Security cruised by numerous times with no incident - so they should simply say "no street parking". Again...lots of space for our small 8 person group. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great Getaway!

Loved the house and our stay. The house had some minor issues but nothing that we couldn’t ignore. The hot tub wasn’t properly heating but we were able to fix this issue once the company was made aware. We also weren't provided with wood for the indoor fireplace which we weren’t prepared for as we had brought supplies to make s’mores. Aside from that it was a great time and we’d definitely come again! Thank you!
