“In a neighborhood. People on both sides of property lines. I think I saw them once, still felt very private. 10-15 minutes from a lot of really cool nature spots. Close enough to small towns that you’ll feel like a choice to be private, or be in little tourist areas at your leasure.We didn’t want for anything as far as dishes utensils towels everything. “Mike and Mari are exceptional hosts. They checked in us and even went above and beyond to send me and mom a gift as we were celebrating some special bdays! The beach is fabulous, soft sand and clear water. The cottage itself was clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable furniture, lots of games and the decor was relaxing. Perfect vacation mode!Our pups had a great time swimming and relaxing with us. Morning sunrise is stunning if you get up nice and early.I look forward to visiting again!”

The beach and the lake were amazing, as were the various areas on the property to enjoy. “This house is family friendly. It is spacious and clean. I loved that there was outdoor furniture to sit on to enjoy the view of the beach. The view was amazing. The bathtub/showers were clean. The beds were comfortable. Our only complaint was that parking for two vehicles was too tight in the driveway. ”

“Wonderful stay at this lake house! The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room are equipped with all you need. The fireplace and fire pit were put to great use. Down the ladder we went into Lake Huron. Nearby Tawas City has good shopping, biking and hiking near the Lighthouse. The hosts were very responsive when contacted and it is clear that they take great care of and pride in their home.”

“The cabin was great!!! Super clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed utensils. Lovely, considerate extras: ice, bottled water, fresh flowers, and so much more! We spent 2 nights as a couple and 2 more as grandparents of 2 boys (3&10). Such valuable memories and happy experiences. Beach was quiet and clean with anything you could hope for!!! So grateful for Carmen’s generosity. ”
