“Lovely venue, with a great lake view. House was clean, and check in was easy. Comfortable beds and bedding. A wonderful overnight stay for our group of 10.Minor complaint about some of the cleaning up items available (there were no dishwasher tablets available, so had to pop to the shop in the morning of check out to get some) Also there was no cork screw bottle opener so I couldn't open a bottle of wine :-(Otherwise it was a great experience”

“The property, although warm and dry, could do with a thorough deep clean. Everything looked tired. There were knick knacks decorating the lounge and ugly stuffed toys. Considering we are charged a cleaning fee it was very disappointing. The bedding appeared clean although no top sheets on the bunks. Two face clothes for our entire family of four was ridiculous and 1 teatowel for the enire weekend. Was insufficient. After paying over 900 for the 2 day stay we wrre left underwelmed. “We were disappointed to find the pool room was under maintenance so we could not use it, looking at other reviews seems like this has been the case for some time so not sure why it’s still advertised with it. Also advertised 7 rooms however we only had access to 6, all other doors and assuming 7th room was locked, so again not what we paid for. Place was quite dusty and smelt humid, did not seem as clean close up as it seems in photos. Overall we were quite disappointed. Hoping this review...

“Room was clean and tidy. However the drive way was so steep that our standard Corolla grounded so hard we had to park at the McDonald’s next door a higher SUV tho would be ok can I suggest that if possible the top of the drive be flattened a bit. The house was very good value and the instructions spot on so aside from the drive a very good value for money stay Thanks”
