Marshall Point Lighthouse is located near the fishing village of Port Clyde, Maine. The Lighthouse property includes the wonderful light, connected via the long wooden runway to the property, a lovingly-restored Keeper’s House, as well as welcoming grounds and complimenting gardens. In The Keeper’s House, there is an extensive museum housing exhibits centered on the lighthouse as well as a historic look into the industries and life on our peninsula. As an interesting detail, in the movie “Forest Gump” Tom Hanks concluded his long run on the lighthouse runway. There is “limited” but adequate parking available with easy access to the grounds and Museum. #lighthouse #maine

Lovely place overall
We had a whole cottage with a spa bath and a separate bedroom to ourselves. The bed was comfortable! Besides a few splatters on the wall in the kitchenette area and the bathroom, this place was CLEAN.
