“This property was between Alpine and Terlingua, so it is pretty remote. The area is beautiful and the motel property was cute. The room was clean, my only criticism is the beds were too firm for my liking. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. I definitely recommend.”

“We were overall impressed with Ten Bits Ranch and its beautiful, peaceful surroundings. It’s truly a hidden gem—emphasis on hidden! Just be prepared: the property is set about 2.5 miles down a very rough gravel road. We were in a Honda Accord, and let’s just say… it was not a match made in heaven. “We selected this property for a family get away as it was centrally located to the places and events we wanted to experience. It also provided space, comfort, seclusion and privacy. The observation deck on top of the shipping container was a big hit and excellent way to observe the stars at night while being off the desert floor. The home was very comfortable with all the amenities. We would highly recommend this property for all it has to offer. ”

“Very different and unique - gives you a feel of the outdoors with comfort and convenience of modern living. We used this place as a basecamp for our daily adventures and would recommend for individuals. Also has a pet roadrunner whom just hung around us a lot…. ”

“Property very much as expected. Lots of kitchen supplies & utensils plus frig has many condiments. Several gallon water jugs also provided. Only downside is distance from the park - 35 minutes to Maverick entrance gate (which was known). ”

“We loved staying in the glamping tent and will visit again! The instructions to get to the property were very clear (able to do it in the dark with a mid-size SUV easily). Host called the day before to make sure we would be able to communicate with them. Tent was spotless when we arrived and included a couple water bottles, first aid kit, and plenty of lighting. The firepit was great to have and there are a couple chairs inside the tent to use for sitting around it. Showers at Terlingua Ranch...

“My partner and I really enjoyed this little house surrounded by the open, beautiful land of west Texas. We loved how quiet and private this was. The actual house itself was really nice and had everything you needed for a nice short stay. It was also not too far from the main area of Terlingua and Big Bend National Park. We will definitely be coming back! ”

“This was my mom's "Bucket List" trip to Big Bend, so we wanted to let her pick someplace special, and this was it. Honestly, the trip wouldn't have been the same if we'd stayed elsewhere. “We wanted to have a full Big Bend experience. After doing research online, I went with this location. The videos on their website sold me. We could see the Chiscos mountains from our patio. It was designed to help block the winds at night. We sat under the stars by our fire and just soaked it up. The bed and pillows were comfy, and we felt like we were really in the middle of nowhere...perfect. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the stay was everything we wanted. ”
