“This is our second time staying at the Lodge. Its always clean, well equipped with towels and the basic necessitates. We explored Big Bend and parts of mexico, explored the hot springs and enjoyed breakfast and brunch at Vanga. Great place to visit if you like the outdoors”

“My Husband and I were so happy with our stay at this beautiful little cabin over Easter weekend! The host was wonderful and incredibly responsive. Amenities were great, exactly as listed and no surprises! We were able to be secluded from others to enjoy the serenity of the desert. We took advantage of the wonderful food at the lodge up the road as well as the showers. 10/10 would recommend this place to ANYONE looking for the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of West Texas. ”

“Li’l Al’s Barndominium was the perfect landing spot while spending 2 days in Big Bend. The property is secluded enough to feel like you’re on a desert retreat, yet has enough amenities and proximity to food and provisions (about 15 minutes). The sunsets and night skies are unparalleled. The outdoor shower was great too. Would highly recommend.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Nice views. The camper had everything we needed. We especially liked the outside seating area. Our only real complaint is that it is located farther from Terlingua (25 minutes) and Big Bend (40 minutes) than we thought. This can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for.”

“Rustic but spacious and convenient to Big Bend. We had a few issues (one mini-split didn't work but is to be replaced) and the alarm on the tankless hot-water heater went off. The repair man, Abel, came within the hour each time. The dirt road is accessible by sedan in DRY weather but the four steep dips (two 8' deep and two 20' deep) were unnerving. We loved sitting on the front porch in the evening watching a roadrunner come up close and seeing the moon rise, as well as gazing up at the...
