“Parking is excellent, in a convenient location. Rooms are non-smoking, but there were smells of smoking.”

“Air conditioning in the lobby where the hotel bistro was was broken so it was quite warm there. The room we were given had a wet rug near the coffee maker and the faucet in the bathroom leaked from the fixture all over the counter. They moved us to a different room and the toilet overflowed. It was fixed by the time we returned but none of it left us with a great feeling. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.”

“Lumpy uncomfortable mattress. No hair dryer, hallway smelled like a dog pound, noisy dog all night down the hall, outside security door was unlocked, TV remote was missing battery cover and batteries kept falling out, there was a plastic glove on the floor of the room when I walked in (not sure what that was about), room phone was stained- maybe coffee- I wasn't going to use it, but it looked awful, no kleenex provided.”

I sent a message asking if they could clarify a couple of small details relating to the area and mentioned that i would be checking out a day earlier (not asking for a refund) as i had booked an extra day by mistake. 2 months later i received a reply. “I hate to give bad reviews, but there are time when it becomes necessary. I found the staff inattentive, my room reeked of stale cigarette smoke (in spite of numerous notices saying it was a non-smoking establishment), and the "free" breakfast inedible (the imitation scrambled eggs cooked to dry crumbs). In addition, in our bathroom I found the shower fixture loose on the wall and an incorrectly installed electric outlet (a large gap between the wall and the fixture). The establishment was...
