“Super cute and clean bungalows. Not sure if it’s just because it was the off season, but the pool was half drained and was green and not nice appearing. We did check in at 10pm and the code on the door was not the code they had sent me so we had to call to get the code. The bungalows truly do float so expect some motion/noise while sleeping. Otherwise, very nice area. ”

“Great little home away from home. Came to visit my granddaughter that's in the Navy. Nice place to just sit and play games and visit. Couldn't get in at first but the owners answered the phone and took care of it right away. Would definitely stay here again!”

“The host was very accommodating and helpful. The space is attached to their home but never once did they make it awkward. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. It’s a great space for a couples quiet getaway.The only thing that would have made things more comfortable would be more pillows. In all, it was a nice stay. We look forward to visiting the area again but will likely use one of our hosts other places. ”

“Great place and perfect for a guy to get away from it all, or take all the wildlife found in this area. Well-located near Phelps Lake and the Pungo Unit. It is isolated, so a visit to the grocery store on the way in will save you time if you think you will be going out for groceries later. I thoroughly enjoyed Birthday House.
