“Rooms were comfortable. Bathroom well thought out. Nice sized basin, good sized shower with somewhere to put your toiletries. All staff very friendly and helpful. Hallways were very clean well vacuumed. Good amount of parking which was free always good. Only one thing I didn't like was the pillows, too small and not that comfy every thing else was brilliant would stay again good value for money it was cheaper than the premier Inn further down the road and a nicer hotel. ”

“This is our go-to lodging when attending the opera at Glyndebourne. A wonderful, country house in Uckfield, set on beautiful, expansive private grounds. Comfortably and exquisitely furnished, it is always a pleasure to arrive and occupy the spacious common rooms and assigned bedrooms. As frequently encountered in England, old properties may lack some modern amenities Americans are used to like air conditioning and convenient USB charging ports. Televisions are dated; rooms do not have clocks....

“We came late but called before and all was prepared. Beautiful room. Two things would make it even better: Hair conditioner and one soft pillow. The pillows are so hard that it makes you neck sore. Fantastic breakfast!!”
