âDecently comfortable little hotel with very friendly staff.
I stayed here as I was attending a wedding at a nearby venue. Located only a short walk from the closest station with trains to central London, but the train ride is a little longer so not really recommended if youâre only interested in activities in the city.
The room was quite big with a comfortable bed, with an average decor. Bathroom was also average but was ok for my short trip.

âWhile the reception staff at the hotel was very friendly and competent, the breakfast was chaotic, of rather bad quality and for non-British people largely inedible. The location is great, and rooms are modern and nice.â
âI had clean bedding/ towel and somewhere to park. The housekeeper who greeted me was friendly and couteous. So far so good. However, the rooms are in a converted pub (but the pub isn't open) and to call it a 'hotel', I think, is stretching the definition. I would say it's more like an HMO/hostel. There was unfinished laminate flooring in the corridors which was noisy when people were walking past, the kettle had to be put on the floor to reach the plug socket and the shower tray was damaged and...
âOverall it was very good. There really needs to be a bedside light as I had to get out of bed to switch the light off. A door stop for the balcony door would also be useful.â

Samt att frukosten var av det enklare slaget. Hade bland annat önskat att det funnits mer pĂ„lĂ€gg och yoghurt till flingorna :-). Men ett extra plus till det goda kaffe.â
