The lodge is cleverly laid out, feels modern and fresh and neither the humans nor our pooch wanted for anything! Very central located as well. “This was our second time staying at Lynstone Lakes, and it didn't disappoint. The cabin was super clean, and had everything we needed, including a litre of milk, toilet paper and clean towels. The kitchen is really well stocked too with utensils and equipment. The location is brilliant, secluded so its quiet, but only a 15 minute walk into Bude along the road, or slightly longer along the scenic canal. “The lodge was clean, comfortable and had everything the two of us and our two dogs needed for a long weekend. It was quiet and had lovely views over the countryside. It’s only a short walk into the village where there are a choice of eating places (but choose wisely-we chose the farmers arms based on their website and it was the most disappointing meal/experience ever). “Lodge was spacious for 4 adults, clean and with a luxury feel. Park itself was a bit remote from anything else for us for a short stay and although a lot of money has been spent on a pool, shop, restaurant and bar it has not been well thought out or well staffed.”

“Perfect lodge with wonderful views across the valley.... Absolutely spotlessly clean with everything you need to be self catering if you so choose and/or enjoy a fabulous relaxed break.... “House was all that we expected top scores. We only had internet for first day of our stay. One of the reasons we had booked was the availability of internet as our son in law needs access for his business. We had no point of contact to get internet back up. He had to spend every day sat outside the bar working.”

“Erholsame Ruhe auf dem Land findet sich hier reichlich. Gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge in ganz Cornwall. Das Haus war wie beschrieben. Sehr große Räume, gute Ausstattung (Wasser im Whirlpool auf der Terrasse war bereits vorbereitet, Sauna im Masterbad gegen Gebühr). Leider war die Küche sehr klein und machte das Kochen nicht gerade zum Vergnügen (der Backofen war sehr verschmutzt). Trotzdem hatten wir eine tolle Zeit. Das Fitnessstudio, das Schwimmbad mit Whirlpool, Sauna und Dampfbad durfte...

“Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

Besvikelse pga höga förväntningar
"Spektakulär byggnad från sent 1800-tal och fantastisk omgivning. Tyvärr när man går in genom den underbara svängdörren så faller allt platt och man möts av idolbilder på ägaren o hans fru med div celebriteter bla Donald Trump. Fullt med krimskrams och fruktansvärd konst som man tapetserat väggarna med. Begreppet less is more har inte uppfattats alls och man har inte alls spunnit vidare på hela Arthur grejjen eller byggnadens egen historia. Inget ingår, kontinentalfrukost för 100 kr går att få om man tar med sig brickan upp på rummet; mot en tilläggsavgift på ca 25 kr får du äta den i matsalen. Vill man ha ägg el ngt annat kokt så kostar det 200 kr. Badrummen är som tagna från ett kryssningsfartyg, allt i formpressad plast och väldigt trångt. "
