“This cabin is wonderful. It had all of the necessities and a few touches that made it homey and comfortable. Right next door is the owners market and grill. It has great food and everyone treats you kindly. I love that this cabin is pet friendly (the owner, Peter, has a heart for animals himself). I look forward to staying here again.”

“We had a wonderful experience here! After a long drive after we arrived, the home was so inviting and welcoming we all crashed and stayed there, rather than go out immediately to see family. They had toys available for my toddler, and two tv rooms, which was god sent for my teenagers. Everything was clean, and it just made us all feel like home. “I stayed in this home with my 3 friends and had an amazing time. The place was really clean, beautifully decorated and was a very cozy home. The bedrooms had soft bed sheets and a massive king bed…. Amazing! Its so easy to access the house with a code for the door and plenty of space for parking. I saw some beautiful wildlife in the area to top it off and could see the sunset from the sliding glass doors from the kitchen! Would definitely recommend ☺️”

“The giant windows in the living room are dramatic and luxurious. Beds were comfortable. Carpets and living room furniture are starting to show their age but not bad. Kitchen is adequate but some of the pots and pans are also well used. Shower drains were just a little slow in two of the three. Overall a fantastic place.”

“Clean, convenient location, cozy. Easy to get to with 4x4 in snow. Convenient parking. Large kitchen and living space. Will definitely rent this cabin again. There is no clothes washer, but there is a dry. Clothes washer not needed, but shown in the listing and wasn't there when we stayed.”

“Overall stay is good. Very close to bass lake. The reason for 4 stars is that we wish there is an exhaust fan at the toilet area or at the bedroom itself.”

“Cute cabin, quiet location. Shaver lake itself is beautiful but unfortunately the shoreline had a lot of trash. Beer cans, cloths, dirty diaper. Very sad and disappointed with the lake area. Just hung out at the cabin and played games.”

“This VRBO-makeover is nicely appointed, spacious (sleeps 6 or more!) and conveniently located near the middle of town. Don't plan on using the "carport" unless you're driving a pickup truck or SUV. Access to carport is via a one-lane asphalt alley that has a steep dropoff. Alternative: park on the shoulder of Hwy 168 and schlep your bags up 15 stairs. ”

“It was mostly a comfortable experience except the air conditioner in the master bedroom was shaky and making a lot of noise. The backyard is not maintained, looks nothing like the picture. The rooms are clean, everything works as expected (except the A/C mentioned above). Overall it was a good stay, I'd recommend it if you want to have a weekend getaway from big cities. ”
