Lots to do and see in Looe but advise booking your restaurant ”

“This property is need of a lot of repair. Leaks through the ceiling, peeling paint, the water tank is a real issue - you may run out of drinking water! Marks and holes in walls through the property. It is not a virtual check in you have to go collect the keys. We lost two hours trying to get hold of virtual check in. Microwave sounds like it’s going to explode and dishwasher doesn’t work. Really terrible stay. The only plus is there’s a lovely view”

“Great location and well set up with everything you would need. Lovely comfy bed and couldn’t be more convenient for getting into the town. Couldn’t help but notice a couple of things though. The microwave didn’t cook which was frustrating and we noticed the cleaner turned up with a new one as we left so it was clearly something the owner was aware of. The shower leaks from the corner of the tray especially if you use the horizontal part. You can hear the neighbours when sat in the lounge and...

“We loved Polruan. The view from the cottage is spectacular over the harbour and Fowey. There are beautiful walks on your doorstep. The cottage is very cosy, the bed very comfy and we enjoyed the local shops and pub. Everyone we met was very friendly. We would love to come back.”

“Absolutely beautiful place, beautiful location I cant fault anything. Pub and local store in easy walking distance. Just be aware no local public transportation except taxi which have limited availability. Wasnt a big issue but if you want to go into Plymouth it was £25 each way to the train station with one train an hour. We brought our telescope but unfortunately had cloud cover but would be a perfect location for evening of star gazing ”
