“Villa Marena was absolutely perfect for our family. The house is beautiful and charming, perched on a hill overlooking the lake. It is filled with rosemary bushes, grape vines, and fruit trees. Our children barely wanted to leave the property because they were so happy exploring the yard and feeding the ponies up on the hill. It is outside the crowds of Bellagio and feels like a private oasis. Zero complaints. ”

PLEASE do yourself a favor and enter the address into Google or Apple Maps and DO NOT rely on the map within the VRBO app. It is wrong. This Villa is up the hill in Perledo and not very accessible walking. We made due but it was certainly not where VRBO leads you to believe it is.”

“The property was a joy. The views, the comfort, the historical deals where all an absolute pleasure. We were a large group celebrating a milestone birthday. It fit perfectly for our needs. We had a few issues with the gate at check in, but George was quick to respond and great to work with. Please note, this is a historical villa, so you will have the issues that go along with an older home, but none distracted from our stay, just added character. Thank you for an amazing time! “Ich war mit 5 Freundinnen in dem Haus. Es war ein wunderschöner aber nicht perfekter Urlaub. Leide gab es ein paar Kleinigkeiten die während dem Aufenthalt aufgefallen sind. Jedoch wurde immer sofort und total Netz auf unsere Nachrichten reagiert und sich direkt drum gekümmert. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Was man noch beachten muss, man kommt nicht mit dem Auto direkt zum Haus, kann auch nur zwei Straßen entfernt parken. Der Garten und der Pool waren traumhaft.”

"Service was on point, and so was the localization. However the receptions localization and breakfast is in a building 100m away which wasn’t that big of a issue. The biggest problem we had was that there was a lot of noise from the street outside but also from within the same building, this made our night sleep quite difficult. The bed was not so comfy and there was no hair conditioner available. The tv didn’t work but we didn’t come to watch television in lake como. The place was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was varied and they offered gluten-free alternatives. Overall a bit expensive for what you get. "
