“I think this deserves a 3.5 overall. There were some great things and some okay. The positives: The location is great. A mile to Heavenly Village, close to restaurants, etc. It was easy to drive anywhere. The valet workers were great! If you aren't a HVC owner then you have to pay $30/night for valet parking. I knew this upfront. They have a simple system to text 15 minutes before you need your car and it was always ready for me within that 15 minutes. The workers worked hard and were always...

“We really enjoyed our stay at Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe! The hotel has a fresh, clean, modern feel, and the location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. It’s a great base for exploring Tahoe and enjoying everything the area has to offer. Our only dislike was the parking charge, $40 per night! That felt WAY too expensive, especially on top of the cost of the stay, and it adds up quickly. Definitely something to be aware of when booking. Apart from the...

“The lake view from our second-floor room was beautiful, but unfortunately the overall stay was disappointing. The room had a very noticeable smell of cooking oil and kitchen fumes from the restaurant downstairs, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. There was also a wedding party next door, and the music was very loud until around 10:00 PM. Between the kitchen smell and the noise, it was difficult to relax and enjoy the room. The view was nice, but based on this experience, I don’t think we...

“We were asked for arrival time which we massaged them that we would arrive early, we were told to wait since cleaning crew were in the room which was okay but we were not told the room was ready till we checked on it and the cleaning crew were done. The room was not very clean. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was not wiped down and had dust on it. There were hair pieces in the bathroom sink and in the toilet. The beds were so uncomfortable and lumpy. The blankets had stain on them and make a...
