Pennant is spacious, comfortable, well designed with lovely furnishings and spectacular views across the harbour. Unfortunately the lift was out of order which meant climbing up 48 steps with two landings - a struggle with luggage. However, this didn't spoil our stay in the magical harbour village of St Mawes. There are plentiful places to eat, lovely shops, a Co-op, post office and a large public car park, which was quite reasonable, plus the harbour carpark which was more expensive but very convenient. There is a regular ferry service to transport you across the water. FAL cottages, who manage the property, were very friendly and helpful. All in all a lovely place to stay.
