Disappointing! Pictures hid all the dustiness and dirtiness.The property was highly dusty, triggering allergies and smelled like smoke throughout although noted as non-smoking.Had to purchase new towels, linen, iron, disinfectant and room deodorizers to address multiple issues.Grimy kitchen and stove with dirty dishes and bugs in cabinets. Dirty bathrooms with mildew curtains and overly dusty vents.Ants and flies throughout the house.Refrigerator not working properly- owner did address this in a timely manner.Overall, home in poor cleaning condition. Would not return or recommend.

Great place!

Stayed for a week while we moved our son to Tucson for grad school at Univ. of Arizona. Nice neighborhood, great outdoor space, and desert hiking trails within walking distance of the house. The inside was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Would definitely stay again!

Graduation stay at Casa Tropaz

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Tropaz. We traveled down from Phoenix with some family in from New York to celebrate our daughter's graduation from the university of Arizona - total of 5 days. The home was perfect for our needs. Lots of seating and table space for gathering, all of the kitchen necessities and, the best part, a heated pool. The owner's were very accommodating; allowing us to host a graduation gathering with other friends and family (always ask first - communication is the key!). This home is real close to Starr Pass Resort which is a great place for dinner and drinks on a patio overlooking Tucson. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Tucson and especially visiting any University events

Southwest treasure

We had a wonderful stay here. There was hiking was just a block away. The neighborhood was quiet. The national park was a short drive away. Would definitely come back the beds are comfortable the outside seating was great and the pool was very enjoyable. The house is well stocked we were able to cook Meals or go for a short drive to eat out. Tucson is a gem In the southwest

Very satisfied renters

We had a wonderful time at this property. The pool, backyard putting green, and covered patio provided much entertainment. Check in process went very smoothly and Phil was a great communicator. We will return! The only issue we had was learning that we had to wake up very early to roll the garbage bin to the curb. We didn’t learn the details of this request until the evening before, when it was very dark and the lock box was being fussy. Other than that, all of our experiences were great. Comfortable beds and fluffy large bath towels were much appreciated.

Lots of house issues for the price

Overall, we spent way too much of our vacation dealing with the owner and house issues. 1. Along with check-in instructions, the owner requested we take out the trash - before we even arrived. Later he asked us to re-shuffle the previous people’s recycling into the trash for pickup the following week. 2. The heat was turned off when we arrived and the house was at 56 (December). The owner said he knew there had been a problem with the breaker in the electrical box. Every time we wanted to have the heat on, we needed 2 people to turn on the breaker/heat. 3. We rented this house because of the heated pool. Turns out the owner says the pool is at 85 but the pool at around 70 was not warm enough to swim. The heated pump was only on approximately 11am-6pm. Our last night there the pool maintenance guy came around 4pm and kicked us out of the pool with no warning. 4. The incoming water to the toilet in the master bath is leaking and there is black mold growing into the wall (no baseboards). There is also black mold in the corner of the shower. The owner said he is aware of the issue but hasn’t fixed it. 5. This home is in the flight path of the Air Force base. There is a neighbor with a barking dog. 6. We left at 3am but had to get up at 2:30am to strip beds, wash towels, etc for the owner. 7. Several ‘finishing’ issues, no blinds/curtains in kitchen so you eat with sun in eyes, kitchen flooring not finished, one kitchen drawer doesn't open, mirrors not hung, etc.

Lovely Home!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a fantastic experience. Firstly, the communication with the host was exceptional. They were prompt, friendly, and provided all the necessary information to ensure a smooth check-in process. The property itself was absolutely stunning. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-maintained. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the stylish furniture to the luxurious bedding. The space felt cozy and inviting, making it easy to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The amenities provided were top-notch. The pool and putting green were amazing!
