“This is a lovely property. New and nicely appointed. We were there just one night and Deven was very accommodating. Everything was very comfortable. We had one issue but it had nothing to do with the property. Just before sunset the aircraft carrier jets started maneuvers and flew extremely low over the home and the noise was deafening for 45 minutes. We had the house completely closed but still the noise was very loud. It was mentioned in the description that they do flyovers but had no idea...

“We stayed here with our family and extended relatives visiting from out of town, and it was absolutely wonderful. The home was beautiful, and everything outside was spotless. The view of the harbor was stunning—especially with the cozy fireplace and grill setup. If you enjoy cooking, the space is perfect for it. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I’ll definitely be checking for future availability if I’m ever in the area again.”

“This home served our needs, but I would not use the word "modern" to describe it. Internally, there have been a number of updates, but this is an older home in an older neighborhood. Lana, our host, was very responsive. When notified there weren’t enough towels for all of us, she helped us find more towels. See photos. “Wonderful house. Well equipped. Comfortable beds. Even the teenager was pleased. ”

“I'm not sure if I met the host or not. The amenities were a little misleading. We didn't know that there were going to be other people on the property with us using the facilities. The kitchen in the indoor space was extremely limited and the pans did not work on the induction stove. Additionally, there didn't appear to be a useable mattress for the "fold out" bed. “What a great location, accommodations, and host! The trifecta for any stay! We arrived and within 2 hours saw our first grey whale cruising along at low tide. Then, treated to several sitings of harbor seals, sea lions, and other grey. Peaceful with an outdoor fire pit, hammock, and hot tub. “The log cabin was just perfect for our group. Although we did not meet our host, she was very prompt at responding to questions prior to our arrival. Our stay was so good that we had no reason to contact her regarding issues. The place was precisely as advertised, and everyone enjoyed themselves, including the new hot tub which was a pleasant surprise for all.
