“Bra och fräscha rum, lite minus för att Det bar fuktigt och AC slog av hela tiden samt brandlarmet utlöstes ibland. Men överlag ett bra hostel för ett bra pris i centrala Cairns, WiFi fungerade bra, trevlig personal, dush och toa ok. Fanns handuk på rummet och tvål och duschreme på toalett, hårtork att låna. Både barnfamiljer och backpackers. ”

“Överlag smutsigt, AC luktade mögel.och allt i rummet var fuktigt. Service ok. Kök var ok för matlagning och förvaring av mat. Men förvänta dig inte att ha några koppar eller glas att drick ur för det har alla kidsen tagit till sina rum för att ha fest. Första nätterna var ok men när helgen kom så blev stället ett partyplace för 18 åringar. Så vill du ha ett ställe bara för att övernatta och få lite sömn vilket jag letade efter är inte Gilligan's rätt ...”

“The cleanest and coziest hostel for a very cheap price. Around 15 min from down town so if you are looking for a quite hostel this is the one. The manager tho. At first he was friendly and helpful, but when you questioned him he showed another side. Went bungy jumping, that we booked at the hostel. We missunderstod the offer and he was extremley rude to both us and the girl at the reception. Instead of explaining The offer he yelled and Hung up on us. No service mind what so ever. A shame...

“Highview is a quiet property but still close to the center. The kitchen has everything you could possibly wish for and my family and me very much enjoyed staying there. It's very spacious, so everyone can be in their own room or we can all hang out in the living room, enjoy the free Netflix and spend time together. We had an amazing time, Gina was very helpful regarding recommendations for dinner and what to do in the area. Will definitely come back! ”

“Stayed twice during our holiday in Cairns. Both times we had 2 double rooms. The bathrooms were not very clean in either of the rooms we had. The bed was very very very hard and we had to ask for the airconditioning to be turned on. This was something no one told us upon arrival so first night was very hot and humid as we thought the aircon was broken. Overall a nice atmosphhere but the hotel is run down and does not feel very clean. Wanted to borrow bikes but most of them were broken, had flat...

“Cabins are of an older type, but comfortable, air conditioned, clean and employees are friendly and helpful. Nice food and in walking distance to the lake. Really enjoyed my stay and will come back.”

“Our stay here was pleasant . Good pressure from the shower , the aircon was perfect as the temperatures often reached mid/high 20s outside . The owners were lovely people and very accommodating to our requests etc . Within 5 minutes walk to eateries and convenience stores . If you are wanting a ground floor unit then please directly call the Hotel in person as this is the best way to make sure your requests will be heard . Laundry is $3 au for a wash and $3 for a dry . Within 5 minutes walk...
