"Very nice and affordable 5 star place in the middle of everything. Saves time and money since you dont need the daily transfers m you otherwise typically need. And keep in mind Ubud traffic is the definition of chaotic (in a charming kind of way). There is one “however” and that is breakfast. Looks good but tastes… let’s say not so much. However, it is not a dealbreaker. There are lots of nice affordable places on the street outside. "

"Amazing experience on all levels. Clean rooms, good food, and the service and all the people working at Komaneka was outstanding the best! We did our first trip away from Europe (coming from Sweden) with our 8 months year old son and not only we enjoying our vacation - he have as well! The personell have taken care of him every second needed, playing music and dancing. We are super grateful for our week at Komaneka Tanggayuda and would recommend everyone going here. I would also like to add that we are used travellers, used to good hotels, but this really beat all our expectations before going here. "At first glance the place looked great and met our expectations. However after checking in and seeing our rooms and the different facilities we were a bit disappointed. The reception staff we talked to initially was very nonchalant and we did not feel welcomed. The rooms are worn by age and it is obvious the place has seen better days. If you want a cozy, relaxing jungle visit I suggest a more modern resort. If you want more action I suggest booking something closer to Ubud as the daily shuttle service is always delayed by traffic."
