“A descent hotel, we only stayed one night.
The room didn’t have a sealing light which made it very dark in the room. The carpet was good, it didn’t feel as filthy as the other hotels we’ve been to. But still need to be renovated, very outdated furniture. ”
“Hotel Granduca was as lovely as allways. The quite and lovely poolarea and the restaurant is really different from other hotels we have visited. The rooms are big and luxurious but the best thing with Granduca is the staff, totally outstanding! We will allways stay here when returning to Houston.

“Great visit. The only thing was the elevators were broken in the parking garage. So you had to carry you luggage if you selfed parked. Luckily we did not have much , only stayed one night. But if the front desk would have told us we probably would have paid $10 more for valet. Also the ice Machine on our flood was broken but we had an ice chest so did not have to make to many trips. Staff was friendly, pool was nice, room was clean and big. We enjoyed our stay overall and would stay there again....
“Location is great. Room in good size with everything you need while being in good condition and clean.
Only two negatives really:
1. Close to none sound proofing, you can hear your neighbours or hallway conversations without an issue. And they will hear everything you do.
2. Parking is a bit overpriced with $15 + taxes per night. I ended up paying $140 for 8 days.
I also had issues with no water off and on for the last two days. It was a temporary issue though so wont hold it against the...
“The breakfast is expensive, full of single use plastic and not particularly inviting. I do know why it has to be so bad. Avoided having breakfast the last days. Might work in US but is substandard in the rest of the world.”
