“The paint in the room was chipping, the phone did not work, the pull out bed was missing and the couch was so raggedy, and the management talks so disrespectful to the staff. A baby came to our door crying with no adult around for a few minutes and another lady and some kids knocked on our door and turned the handle to try to open it! This hotel is raggedy, I am never staying at another Comfort Inn again, the price was cheap and that was the only positive, but it would have been worth it to pay...

“I made a last minute booking for a 2 night stay here and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is relatively new so I was immediately relieved as I have allergies and can’t often tolerate some of the older hotels. The front desk employee Ciara was lovely and efficient. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I lost my room key while running around and she remembered me immediately and easily able to set me up with a new one.”

“Great old building in design and common area furnishings are appropriate with plenty of character. As for the room: Sure, the building is old and one doesn't expect a big room, but ours was too small; there was about one foot of space on two sides of the bed. Space to leave one suitcase open, but not two. Bathroom was small, as was the sink. The major problem in the room, though, was the owner's insistence on a period bed that required one to pole vault into it. There was a two-step stair left...

“Lots of things were broken or worn down. Had to make lots of trips to the front desk for missing items like bedding, towels, and having our room cards cancelled when we had another night left.”

There was one lady in the reception that had kind of like an attitude, maybe she was on her period? Otherwise walking disstance from the univeristy of Michigan wich was the most important thing to me!”
