There's a scene in the movie French Kiss, filmed in Valbonne, where Kevin Kline (as Luc) and Meg Ryan (as Kate) make their way down a narrow cobblestone street and she exclaims "Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!" That pretty much sums up the town. The small French village of Valbonne, about 15 minutes north of Cannes, was also used for the scene where Luc fights with his brother in the main village square in front of the Hotel les Armoiries, an old seventeenth century building.

"We came here end of February 2026. The staff was very friendly and whther it was entrance, reception, bar or anywhere else we were greeted with a smile and a "bonjour" or similar depending on time of day. The room was xlean whem we got there and room cleaning was food every day. They had a bit of rennovations going on one floor above us but its February and they seemed to be doing it mid day when we were going out anyways. This is a very nice hotel with friendly staff. Good reccomendation."
