“Cleanliness was sporadic; some surfaces clean and shiny, but the tub in one of the bathrooms was disturbingly mouldy and dirty, we didn't use it. Supplies were haphazard - there were no hand towels anywhere; no small spoons (flatware was mismatched garage sale cast-offs). Beds were VERY firm and uncomfortable, one of them we could not use and put that guest on a futon which was barely better. Some lightbulbs burnt out and the house was dim. Ceiling fans did not work and badly needed dusting....

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dobson House. Our host was courteous and very helpful. We hiked to the gorge and enjoyed a hot spring soak less than two miles from the house. We cooked a few meals in the enormous kitchen and enjoyed lovely views from all parts of the house. Highly recommend staying here.”
