“The Lilypad is a fabulous cosy, beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Sitting outside on the deck area, listening to the birds, frogs, chooks and sounds of nature is restoring. A great place to relax after a day of exploring.The enclosed area was great for the dogs, I feel grateful to have been able to stay in such a place with my dogs.Thank you Karen and Jason, a fabulous place you have created. “This is a truly magical place, and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in Cottage 2 with my dog for two nights. It was wonderful to be able to walk through the dunes which are fully vegetated to the beach. I could see and hear the ocean while sitting in front of the cottage watching the amazing sunsets. I particularly liked the owners approach of using recycled and repurposed material as much as possible and to work towards a zero waste approach. It was a very enjoyable stay for me and I will be coming...

“This was a fantastic place to stay - we loved the quirky outdoor bathroom/toilet, plenty of space to chill out and the deck area with the birds all around was lovely. Thank you to our amazing host for the little added extras: a bottle of red wine left for us and beautiful flowers all throughout the house, these things were much appreciated. “Overall a very comfortable stay. Kitchen and bathroom are a bit dated but it was very spacious and had great extras like cooking oil and cling wrap. Also loved having a washing machine and dryer and the bed had an electric blanket. Would be a great place with kids as there’s a large lawn area out the back and a large green reserve at the front of the house. ”
