“We all know how hostels normally are, and what to expect. But this is the worst hostel I have ever been on. I read the some of the reviews, and mostly the text on the web page before and it all sounded so good. And it was nothing like this! It was super dirty and bad looked after. Some examples; dirty towels laying around in all the bathroom floors, wet floor all the time, badly cleaned in general, the chairs in the kitchen were so broken that I did not want to sit on them. It felt like most...

“Expected a normal hostel as ratings on hostelworld were high. Nope. Cockroaches in the kitchen, in microwave, behind counters and hatches etc. Staff should do a major effort to clean but they lack knowledge and interest. More drugs here than acceptable. Disgusted.”

“Was ideal for our one night stopover after landing in Perth. Beds were comfy enough, and the kitchen was well equipped (although we didn’t use it). Would recommend for a short stay before heading on to another place. Well connected as within the free transport area.”

“I stayed for 13 nights. I had booked a single room. The location of Dolphin Retreat is excellent: three minutes from a wonderful beach and five minutes from shops and restaurants. About half an hour to walk to the wildlife park ang fifteen to the dolphin centre. I would recommend Dolphin Retreat for a stay in Bunbury.”

“It was clean and quiet. The location was very central. The checkin and checkout process were smooth and easy, no complaints.”

“This place was newly refurbished. It was clean and modern unlike some of the other hostels. Spacious room, not crammed. Other facilities was good. Yellow CAT and Red CAT buses (free shuttle buses every 8 mins and 4 mins) were only 3 mins walk away. Convenient to go into city. Supermarket only 3 mins by walk. ”
