“Our stay at Baliyana lodge was excellent! We spent our Christmas here and our hosts recommended several nearby restaurants for the holidays. The lodge is situated in the countryside and a car with some clearance is recommended if staying here. The room was clean but there is no door to the bathroom. “We have never had a more relaxing vacation! It felt very White Lotus without any drama where everyone takes the best care of you and you feel like family at the end. Food was excellent, service off the charts and accommodations were straight out of paradise. A few feet to the pool, a few feet to the beach! “Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor.
