We stayed here the night before our cruise. The biggest advantage was its accessibility to the Number 5 bus stop. It was only a block from the bus stop and the bus runs very regularly. The next morning we took the bus to Piazzale Roma in Venice and then went to the cruise terminal. That part was pretty painless and inexpensive, as was the rental. The bed was big for European standards and comfortable. And the food at the Hilton Garden Inn was pretty good. On the negative side, there was no sound proofing, so at 11:00 pm the neighbors showed up and were very loud. The air conditioner did not work, and there was only hand soap, no shampoo for the shower. In addition, the hair dryer holder separated from the wall, and the shower head would not stay in place.
