“Excellent location”

“This was an excellent venue and environment for my mother‘s 90th birthday party. It’s a beautiful historic decor that she loved. So many guests commented on its uniqueness and beauty. The party was a huge success, though there were a few hiccups from the party planner standpoint. The large tea brewing machine did not have the tea pods, nor was it functional. There were two coffee makers, one was not functional at all, thankfully the Bunn coffee maker was functional and brewed coffee very quickly...

“Very nice place. Spotless on arrival. Check-in was a breeze. Location was perfect for our purpose. Being able to park in the garage was a nice bonus. We enjoyed our stay!”

“The perfect little getaway! We will definitely be going back”

“Loved it! The home was very accommodating and enjoyable for our group. The private pier was a winner, and the host was super helpful. We will stay again!”

“Unfortunately, due to flooding we were unable to make the trip. Heather was very empathetic and quick to respond. Hope to stay there in the future, strongly recommend the insurance. Paid for the stay!!!”

“Clean, cute house, loved the place”

“Beautiful property, clean and homey interior. Host was on property and always helpful when needed. Views were spectacular. Pet friendly with fee. Had an alligator swim by while fishing which was a neat experience.”

“Walter was quick and kind in his responses, which we really appreciated. He even allowed us to check in early, which made our short stay much more convenient. The place was clean and comfortable for our one-night stay. We enjoyed being able to walk to the Shiner Ice House and then over to the Shiner Brewery. Overall a good stay. Sadly, did not have the opportunity to use the spa in the private backyard.”
