“Nice cozy place with good amenities like hot tub, small firepit, creek access for good fishing and comfortable furnishings inside the house. Our only small let down, if you can even call it that, was that the location was not as secluded as we thought. It's pretty close to town and the other cabins on the property are pretty close by which makes it feel not as secluded as we hoped for. Overall, I would say 8.5 out of 10 rating though. Thanks.”

Reached out a few times via VRBO msg, phone calls, and text msgs; only connected once with owner. The one time we connected I was able to get info needed for arrival and departure. I have recommended this property to friends and family already. We would stay again.”

“Very comfortable clean property in a quiet location in Groves yet very convenient for travelling into Louisiana and driving down the Gulf Coast to other prominent birding destinations.”

“The pictures made it seem that it was a beautiful place. The sliding doors did not have any handles, tissue was placed because where the handles are supposed to be it was exposed to the outdoors. The place was not clean and up to par. No oven, but it was a countertop oven that we used. The bugs were ridiculous, they were coming in from the outside through the cracks .”

“The house was lovely, the yard needed mowing badly. Was disappointed the yard was not fenced. We thought a pet friendly property would have a fenced yard. The neighborhood was awful. We tried to not go out at night. Neighbors had large groups of people outside almost all the time they played loud vulgar music. The yard had little cockle burrs bad. They got into our little 6 pound senior dogs fur so bad we had to take him to the animal er to get them out on Saturday.”
