“Upon arrival, we were greeted to dirty dishes, smelly refrigerator, someone’s laundry in the washer/dryer as well as a lack of cleaning of the property and a number of broken items. Contacted the management company who asked for us to send pictures which we did and they subsequently sent cleaners over who did the bare minimum as they only vacuumed the main floor, not the other floors. “Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen ruhigen und wenig touristischen Dorf, das sehr gute Bedingungen für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen des Comer Sees bietet. Es ist ideal für Familien- oder Freundesgruppen, die gerne aktiv sind. Die Schlafzimmer sind einfach, aber zweckmäßig und sauber. Das Haus ist sehr kinderfreundlich. Unsere Gastgeberin Elisabetta war bereits im Vorfeld und während des Urlaubs sehr engagiert, immer gut erreichbar und gab uns viele wertvolle Tipps und Hilfestellungen.”

Die großzügigen und sehr schön renovierten Zimmer haben zudem genug Rückzugsmöglichkeit geboten. Die Gegend ist gut zum Sightseeing, wandern, spazieren geeignet und Annone selbst angenehm weg vom großen Tourismus am Comer See.”

“We spent a few days in Barni. Elisabetta welcomed us on the first day and showed us around. During our stay she maked sure, we feel safe and asked if everything is fine. The house was clean and spacious, also the garden, which has a pool, a nice BBQ area and lot of toys for the children. The kitchen was well equipped. There was also enough parking space for 3 cars. We enjoyed our stay very much. Elisabeta is a very nice and kind host.”

“This was the second time, we stayed at this villa (group of friends) and it probably won't be the last time. The villa is beautifully located with a view of the lake and the surrounding mountains and wonderful sunsets in the evening. The rooms in the upper floor are great and we enjoyed the pool and the billard table a lot. We found ourselves wanting to just hang out there instead of running around. We would definitely stay there again.”

“We took our adult children, spouses and one year old granddaughter to Italy to be able to spend time together. Gretchen was a marvelous host. She communicated with me in advance to help me arrange a boat tour of Lake Como, gave lots of info about surrounding area, restaurants, and shops. The Villa and grounds are very impressive. Large, beautiful, accommodates a large group and yet child friendly. Bonus, handicap accessible. Hope to return again some day!”

“This villa has an absolutely gorgeous view, on top of the mountain. It is even more beautiful than the pictures show online. It is walking distance away from a few restaurants, the beach, and the ferry in Onno, which makes it a perfect location if you don’t have a car. The interior of the Villa was average: there was no AC (so make sure to confirm that before booking) and the sheets had a stain on it. Also, the place was advertised as private, but we were shocked when we saw the owner’s family...

“When we arrived there was dirty dishes. And on the day of cleaning no cleaning was done. We were there in October and there was a lot of bugs in the room getting in from the balcony. It was a well equipped kitchen. The female staff were very good when we complained about the room not been cleaned. They fixed it and made sure it was properly cleaned the day after. And it was :) To get in to town by walking was a problem because the roundabout that you had to cross in order to get to the city...
