“Beautiful place and friendly staff!”

“We (two couples) loved our stay at Gizeux. Stéphanie is a generous host with her time and hospitality. Our stay started perfectly with a home cooked meal and stories about the history of the château. Gizeux is an excellent base to explore the Loire and its magnificent châteaux. At the end of the day it was always very special driving back to our very own! The family is doing an incredible job of preserving the château and it was an absolute privilege to make it our home for a few days.”

“The stay was perfect in every way. The Park Room that we stayed in was full of antiques, with stunning decor and four shuttered windows that overlooked the the estate, pond and horses, donkeys and cow. The breakfast was very special with the host's homemade marmelade, bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit and eggs from the chateau gardens, local cheeses, pastries. Amazing. Ivana was a wonderful host and was so knowledgeable about the area and local history; she goes above and beyond to make the guests...

“Our 2 day stay was amazing.We stayed in the restored Charles V11 suite. The staff very friendly and extremely helpful especially Emmuelle and Liliann. Would recommend it as a beautiful hide away. ”

“Gregoire was a wonderful host. The Castle was clean, and any small critiques are easily understood by living in a castle from 1520! The bathrooms are modern, the beds very comfortable. There is no Air Conditioning, and the days were very warm! There were fans, though, and the nights cooled down a bit. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you, Gregoire!”

“Ce château surplombe la vallée, offrant une vue dégagée exceptionnelle. Le parc est sécurisé pour les enfants. Le tout dans un hameau totalement silencieux.”

“No cleaning at all during our stay (four nights). Nothing to hang towels on in the bathroom. Otherwise a nice hotel rather close to city with nice restaurants.”

“Vi hade en lägenhet för två. En hall, ett sovrum och badrum med dusch. Storleken var helt ok. Däremot så var rummet olidligt varmt och sängen rätt liten för en dubbelsäng. Fanns heller inget diskmedel eller diskborstar/svampar. De har parkering mot avgift bakom en bom med övervakningskamera. På det hela taget knappt ok.”

“En bekväm studio med alla faciliteter i ordning. Hela hotellet mycket rent och snyggt.Bra sängar men kanske lite liten plats runt sängarna. Helt Ok för två vuxna.”
