“Birdsong was exactly as described and had everything you needed for your stay. The bedrooms were so quirky and different, loved them. Sadly the weather wasn't on our side so we didnt get to sit in the beautiful garden. The cream tea was an added treat, thank you Jane. Would absolutely love to visit again in the future.”

“An amazing time we have had in this beautiful cottage owned by Jane. Absolutely lovely and highly recommend. So peaceful, close to shops, towns especially Padstow where you will find Rick Steins restaurants and fish and chips shop. Close to some amazing attractions and beaches too. This is a beautiful place to stay if you just want some peace and quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the cities.”

“Nice place spoilt by overgrown garden and problems with appliances. Nice walk down a foot path with the dog to Porthilly cove and easy to walk to Rock beach and Daymer bay.”

“This is a fantastic holiday home, nice and spacious, very well equipped, with a lovely garden and beautiful view out towards the sea. Well located for the beach and everything that Polzeath has to offer. We would definitely return.”

“Lovely location and lovely little property, everything you need and more for a relaxing stay. Quiet, although out of season I guess, but still a couple of other guests nearby and not disturbed. Great location to get to lovely beaches and historical sites, and easy driving to the rest of the west and south Cornwall too. Will be back for sure, and will tell family and friends also. Andy”

“Great central location to reach most of Cornwall, Wadebridge has all the shops you’ll need (recommend the Camel train on bikes for the family) and the cottage is in a very quiet location with a fantastic pub/restaurant only 5 minutes walk away in the county. Definitely would recommend if your after a property that’s quiet after a busy day. Yes there’s no Wi-Fi but we found talking to each other works. The electric shower isn’t fantastic but it works ok.”

“The house was lovely & really well equipped . We particularly liked the living room . It is suitable for all ages with a small garden . Contact with the owner was easy & he even sent me a text from New Zealand to say we could get in the house early ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would not hesitate to go back .”
