The listing does state that the wifi is satellite internet and isn’t reliable. I’m sorry the network extender wasn’t working. I told your husband if resetting it didn’t work to call me back and I’d be more than happy to call Verizon or come myself to try to figure it out. Since he did not call me again, I assumed it was working and not an issue anymore. No one has ever mentioned problems with the TV, so I appreciate that feedback so we can write directions on how to use it. I am surprised to hear your comment about the cleanliness. When I spoke to your husband, he stated multiple times how beautiful and wonderful the house was. Had he or you mentioned at any time during your stay that you didn’t feel it was adequately cleaned, I would have been happy to come and resolve any problem areas. As can be seen from the many other reviews, our home is left very clean for each stay.

I am a host who is willing to go above and beyond for the guests who stay in our home. However, when a guest is as rude, condescending, and demanding as you were and calls every ten minutes to complain about something I told you would take some time to heat up, it does get frustrating and does not make me inclined to go above and beyond. I did offer to come add water and see if I could figure out the problem, but seeing as it takes 20 minutes to fill the tub from empty (so maybe 5 to add water), it didn’t seem like you’d want to wait 30 minutes for me to drive there to do it for you. I was not willing to refund the entire weekend as was demanded of me, but I was willing to refund the one night if you chose to leave. That said, in the 4 years we have been renting our home, we have always maintained the hot tub right after a check out and not right before a check in with no issues. After being made aware of this issue, we have scheduled routine cleaning (between every stay) to be done one day prior to check in. This will insure the level of water doesn’t evaporate and everything is functioning properly. Unfortunately, things do go wrong, and we continue to learn from them and change our procedures to better serve our guests.

Richard, I apologize that you did not feel the house was cleaned to your standard. As other reviews have shown, our home is very clean, and we have not had an issue with this in the past. If you had contacted me at any point in your stay about your concern, I would have been happy to come and take care of it myself. I also apologize you couldn't figure out the internet. I was there yesterday, and it seemed to be working fine. When I did not hear back from you after your initial internet inquiry, I assumed you had it working. Again, had I known, my husband or I would have come to the house to make sure everything was working correctly.

Melissa, Thank you for your feedback. Typically, the hot tub is drained and cleaned between each stay, but in order to accommodate your early arrival at 1 pm, that could not be done. We also have limited options due to the location of the house. We can only get satellite internet. We hope to have better options in the future.
