Designad med kvalitet och komfort i åtanke kommer du att känna att du verkligen är på flykt i detta glada hus. Beläget i ett eftertraktat, lugnt område: 3 miles till Pentagon; 10 kilometer till Washington Monument och Smithsonian Museum; 1 kilometer till King St. Tunnelbana / Amtrak och Gamla stan.
Om huset: huset är ljust, orört och charmigt. Köket renoverades nyligen och har nya apparater. Huset är smakfullt inredda med amerikanska Shaker-möbler i sovrummen. Madrasser är nya. 100% mjukt bomullslakan. En stor solsäsong med tre säsonger finns på baksidan av huset, som kan användas under skuldermånaderna. Båda badrummen har badkar och dusch. Det finns två sovrum på bottenvåningen och två sovrum på övervåningen. Sovrummen på huvudnivån är bra för människor som vill undvika att klättra uppför trappor. Gatan är väldigt tyst, plus väggarna är mycket solida, så väldigt lite brus reser mellan rummen.
Plats: Huset ligger på en lugn gata som är centralt belägen (inuti bältet), i ett eftertraktat område i Alexandria City, Va. Restauranger och närbutiker ligger inom gångavstånd (2 kvarter) samt apotek, cykelaffär, glass, pizza och brödbutik. Livsmedelsbutiker, bensinstationer är också några kvarter bort. Gamla stan Alexandria ligger 1 mil bort, där du kan hitta butiker, restauranger, Torpedo Factory Art Gallery och vackra gator att promenera. Tunnelbanestationen King Street och Amtrak ligger 1 km bort.
Ta sig runt: Det här huset har snabb tillgång till motorvägen, så du kan nå centrala DC mycket snabbt (det kan ta lite längre tid under rusningstiden). Det finns faktiskt bara ETT trafikljus för att nå centrum av DC. Av denna anledning är det lättare att nå centrala DC härifrån än från många platser inom DC och MD. Washington Monument och National Mall / Smithsonian-museerna ligger cirka 6 miles bort. Det är också en mycket snabb resa till Pentagon (5 minuter utan rusningstid). Närmaste tunnelbanestation och Amtrak hållplats är King Street Station. En resa via Lyft till Washington Monument kostar dig cirka $ 8- $ 11. För att nå Pentagon via buss, gå .4 miles till Preston Rd & Martha Custis Dr., ta buss AT4.

Layla was very easy to communicate with. The house was clean and well-maintained. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, but very close to DC and all the Alexandria highlights. It was a perfect space for a group of friends. And the sun room was a great bonus! We would highly recommend.

Location

The house was perfect. We are a family of 5 and brought a grandparent. We had everything we needed. The location was great. We found plenty of what we needed around the neighborhood. We also went into Del Ray, Old Town Alexandria, and D.C (many times 2xs a day). Layla met us when we got there. I could tell she would have been there for anything, if were to need her.

Great for touring DC and surrounding areas

Close to the expressway for our American History Tour, quiet neighborhood to come home to. Kitchen small, BUT the large sunroom made up for it all. It was the beginning of June and the green out all the many windows made the sunroom our favorite room. A 10 minute drive to historic Alexandria.

Perfect house for our family

House was lovely, very comfortable stay. Spent most of the time in DC but evenings were relaxing in a great space. The host was very communicative and all our expectations were met. We had a great stay - one of the cleanest houses I’ve ever stayed in! Loved the plentiful amount of towels, coffee filters (and other kitchen items), location, etc! Great place for our family and would definitely stay again!

Great Home!

This was our first official Sisters Trip since 2019, due to the pandemic. The neighborhood is quiet, with friendly neighbors. The host was very responsive to any questions we had about the home. The bedrooms worked for the six of us, the upstairs bedrooms very spacious. The location was an easy drive to Old Town Alexandria and quick Uber ride into Washington DC. We definitely recommend Bluemist for a stay in the Washington DC area!

Fantastic!

My husband, son, and I travel to VA from KS to visit with his brothers and mother almost every summer. Several days’ stay at a hotel is not fun. Layla’s Vrbo was the perfect solution! Mom was able to stay with us as well as another out of town brother and family . It was a great location, comfortable, with every amenity taken care of. Close to Old Town and other shopping/dining areas. Absolutely the best!

Perfect location!

I loved this house! I brought my mom, sister, and two daughters to visit DC and it was so nice to not have to hunt for parking at the end of the day. It was an easy drive to nearby restaurants and shops and to the nearest metro station to go to the touristy DC things. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Lovely home to gather with family

We were in town for the funeral of the family matriarch (102 years old!) We needed a place that was both convenient and space for us and all of our grown children. This house worked wonderfully: it has 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds, 2 full bathroom with plenty of linens, and multiple places to gather and relax.

Awesome stay in Alexandria!

This property was exactly as described. It was clean, spacious, centrally located, and had enough room for two families. Layla was a great communicator! She had everything in the home that we needed - linens, towels, pantry supplies, cookware, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products. Our families appreciated the restaurant suggestions and sightseeing tips. I highly recommend staying here if you are going to be in the DC area!

Beautiful house, everything as advertised.

The house was very neat and clean, with plenty of space for several people to relax in the living room or the large enclosed patio on the back. It is easy access to the 395 freeway into DC, making trips to and from the city easy. The 4 bedrooms and 2 baths were very nice as well.

Charming house and spotless.

Three couples shared this 4 bedroom home. We enjoyed everything about it, including Layla. Walking distance to Pizzaiolo and Ramparts restaurants, both we enjoyed. We took Uber to DC and it was amazing. You can’t go wrong if you stay here.

Spring Break 2018

This house suited our needs perfectly. It was very spacious and clean. We had 2 families of 4 staying here and never felt crowded. If I had to say anything negative, it would only be that it was a bit too far to walk to and from the king street metro stop with the kids. However, we uber'd into city and that worked great. We saved our walking legs for the museums and monuments. Our favorite restaurant was the Cafe Pizzaiolo, it was delicious and had tons of variety. We walked there one night and then had it delivered another night. Layla is great, very nice. She emailed us a bunch of information about the house, sightseeing and transportation. We felt extremely prepared upon arrival. This house made for a wonderful trip. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend it.
