âThis house was exactly as advertised. The master with the en suite was fabulous. Access to a washer and dryer was absolutely key.
Kitchen was fully stocked equipment wise with a ninja blender, toaster etc. (No air fryer - that would have been an extra bonus).
Minor issues:
- drawers sticking in fridge and freezer
- shampoo and conditioner provided was a great perk, I just wish it was slightly higher quality (dove or Pantene prov would be a step up).

âBeautiful, clean, updated hotel with restaurant and bar with delicious food and right on lake hood, nice view from the restaurant patio of Float planes landing and taking off. Shuttle to downtown or airport.â
âMy ten year old says this hotel was fancy! We enjoyed a very comfortable and quiet night in the spacious room. Breakfast had lots of great hot and cold options. We used the guest laundry, always a nice perk. The only downside was a cold pool, but it is Alaska after all!â

âGreat location. We picked this hotel for the airport shuttle. The shuttle is not operating and they would not send taxi or reimburse for taxi/uber fees. Disappointing. Hotel is old and is a great location for walkig Anchorage. Not a great neighborhood, we were two backpacking guys looking for a room for 1 night. â
âThe beds were comfortable. The room was clean. They were under-staffed and the website states that there was a pool and gym onsite. That is not true as you had to go across the street to the Hotel Captain Cook and use their facilities. Those facilities are more for elderly men/women and the mens quarters made my sons feel uncomfortable. â
âStaff here is key for me coolest Iâve ever met from the reception, house keeping, security even the guests that come here are very cool to meet with and just have a conversation with once in a while and the rooms are equipped with full kitchens and the air conditioner/heater work very well and more than enough channels to find something you are interested in and the Free WiFi is excellent, their is on site laundry and vending machines for detergent and dryer sheets and a Home Depot next to the...
