“Me and my partner had a good stay at the Pond Cottage.The kitchen is extremely well equipped and stocked.Rooms are very tidy and homely feeling. Bathroom is clean and pleasant to use.We didn't explore the surroundings but the small animals around the farm were very pleasant to watch from the house. Being surrounded by nature really brings about peace of mind and heart.Enjoyed the stay tremendously. Thanks again!”

“I loved the cabin. It was quiet, comfortable, and secluded. It was a great setting, with the lake to walk around and plenty of wildlife and birdsong.”

We loved that we could easily walk into town for a meal or a drink, and it was also conveniently located for exploring the moor or visiting other nearby attractions. The owners were exceptional; they were always there to help and made us feel incredibly welcome and at home throughout our stay.”

“We had a lovely stay here, was perfect with the playground on the doorstep and the summer house. My daughter loved it! The pool was perfect too and was a good way to spend the afternoon. Next to our lodge is a field perfect for catching the last hour on golden sunrays. Our host was very friendly and helpful, we certainly hope to come again in the future!”

“This is an excellent find. Great cozy feel to the chapel and so well equipped. The owners seem to have thought of everything. Absolutely spotless. Good location in the village will definitely visit again. ”

“The property was fantastic but had a problem with the carpet but was sorted straight away. Everything you need home from home. Little wall to the town. Pubs and restaurant where fantastic food served. Cant say we had a bad meal. We would recommend it to everyone. ”

“Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. ”

“Absolutely lovely. The accommodation is excellent - a superior barn conversion. Really fabulous on a working farm. Hen Curtis was very friendly as well as her dogs Fido (retired sheep dog) Jumble mixed Labby/Poodle, Pinto young sheep dog. All love a good bit of stroking (not Hen!!!!). Relaxing place to be with great walks on and around the farm. Not to be missed.”
