“The property was fantastic but had a problem with the carpet but was sorted straight away. Everything you need home from home. Little wall to the town. Pubs and restaurant where fantastic food served. Cant say we had a bad meal. We would recommend it to everyone. ”

“Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. ”

The peaceful village had two shops, three pubs and two fish and chip shops all within easy walking distance. The fabulous, samdy Weymouth beach was a short drive and going to sleep to the sound of the seagulls was a real treat. We’ll be back! ”

“Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport”

“Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Very quiet area and beautiful views from the cottage. The drive down the 1 mile track to the property was a bit daunting at first as I don't like heights. Beware the potholes. Both coast and countryside in the local area is stunning. Beer being our favourite.”
