“This is a good, old fashioned pub experience. The accomodation is clean and funktionalitet. The menu offers enough variety and well cooked. The staff friendly but professional. The atmosphere relaxing and welcoming even on busier nights. Whole experience felt safe. Important when travelling with an elderly person. Stairs were managable. ”

“Booked last minute for a trip with kids. Location was very convenient but do bear in mind it’s accessed via small country roads. The staff were very welcoming and my boys were smitten with the dog, Buddy. The main pub wasn’t open but the pizza’s were great. The garden is absolutely wonderful and we will definitely try to return and see how it matures. ”

“A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.”

“What a fabulous place!! The superb staff, wonderful food, great ales, good parking, beautifully maintained room and excellent location made our stay an amazing experience.
